Department store credit cards?

I've been considering opening an Old Navy credit account in order to get the coupons they mail out (since I can't seem to find any any other way). I have one other department card (Macy's), and two credit cards. I've never been late on a payment and have always paid the full amount before the due date, thus never having had an outstanding balance or having been charged a late fee or interest.

My question is, if I open this line of credit basically to get the coupons and only use it if I have to (if they have specials where you get a discount only if you use your card) and pay it all off before it's due, how will this affect my credit rating?
Thanks!
