The Kings Wharf Restaurant is located within the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort. I would like to take my Mom there for her 80th birthday, but I don't know if I can afford it without discounts/coupons etc.

I heard there are many benefits, coupons if you get the card. But I just want to establish credit with it. I won't buy anything that costs a lot with it. Maybe just something small everytime, so I can pay it off immediately. I can't afford a secured card yet, as I have to deposit money and I'm a college student. I've also been rejected of student credit cards because of no credit history. Is this a good idea? If not, which department store cards are easy to get and beneficial? Thanks! =)
